We are producing 3 cushions to complement our Once Upon A Time quilts – made from the same beautiful sustainable cotton of course, and using the same 3 fabulous colours, petrol blue, mustard yellow and pomegranate red.

What a week! With two consecutive features in the Daily Telegraph, plus a great write up in our local glossy mag, The Wealden Times – it’s full steam ahead at Old Threads.

Photo-shoot for the Daily Telegraph

Things are moving along at quite a pace. Yesterday we were photographed for an article coming out in the Daily Telegraph next week! As you can imagine, posing with our beautiful quilts was great fun, but quite nerve-raking at the same time. Added to the forthcoming interview on the 29th with Richard Tyler, Enterprise Editor for the Daily Telegraph, production at Old Threads is set to move up a gear.

Thankfully we have a lovely batch of quilts all finished and ready to go. So if you want one in time for Christmas, get your order in now ahead of the rush!

Keep an eye out for the article – it will be featured sometime around the 29th November to tie in with the Chancellor’s Autumn Review. Which, by the way, we are also being asked our humble opinion on!

Boutique is now Open!

We’ve done it – we are open for business! Our toddler quilts are available in 3 colours, Pomegranate Red, Petrol Blue, and Mustard Seed Yellow. We are accepting payments through Paypal, with 2 postal options for the UK, depending on how quickly you want it!

We currently have 6 of each colour in stock, with an estimated turnaround time of 4 weeks on new batches. We will be limiting the ‘Once Upon A Time’ range to 300 editions, at which point we will release a new design, so get your orders in now for a Christmas present your little ones will really love!

Virgin In-Flight Magazine

Great to get a mention in the September issue of the Virgin Atlantic in-flight magazine. Their rear page is dedicated to the ‘change is in the air’ campaign and very kindly they have given us a shout, so hopefully all those first class red-eye travellers will get on-line to see how the duvet covers upcycle into quilts!

We had a mad panic to get photos to the magazine team as typically the request for images came when both Sam and I were on holiday, a very rare occurance – cue mad attempts to upload photos from campsite facilities…luckily we got there in the end and received a very nice write-up. Thanks!
